Parents College Financial Planning Workshop sponsored by H.H. Poole Middle School

There is very little information and resources available for parents who are preparing to pay for their children's college education. To help solve this problem, H.H. Poole Middle School is sponsoring a College Financial Planning Workshop for parents. This hour-long event will provide a wealth of information to parents including: availability of financial aid, how to best qualify for financial aid, learning how to select the most "cost effective" school for your student and your family, what type of financial instruments are useful in helping pay for college, what factors go into determining how much financial aid you can receive, pros and cons to Public vs. Private Schools, and much more.

Those who attend are eligible to receive a certificate for a FREE SAT assessment as well as complimentary tutoring services. A complimentary 45-minute College Financial Planning Consultation is also available for those who attend the workshop. For students who have not started their Junior Year of high school, they are eligible to receive $500 worth of tuition rewards credit to select universities.
