Fauquier Count Parks and Recreation and the Gold Mining Camp Museum at Monroe Park welcome Stafford County author/historian Jerrilynn Eby MacGreggor as she presents a history of the various early industries of Stafford County and how these activitied defined and supported the region from the mid-18th Century until the 1920s. From iron furnaces to mines and mills of all kinds, the Rappahannock region was home to a wide variety of industrial activity, which game the area a vibrant economy. All Ages are welcome, but those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
