Understanding Medicare

The Rappahannock Area Agency on Aging (RAAA) will be hosting a presentation on the basics of the Medicare Health Program on 9 January 2013, 7:00p.m., at the Snow Branch - Spotsylvania Library, 8740 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania VA 22553. This presentation is free-of-charge and is open to the public. Its intended audience is pre-Medicare individuals, persons 65 and older, the disabled and caregivers. Topics to be covered include: Medicare eligibility, Medicare Parts A, B, C and D, Medigap supplemental insurance, penalties, costs, Extra Help, coverage gap (donut hole) and will conclude with a Q&A period.
