College Night at the Museum
The Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center - Fredericksburg, VA
The Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center would like to invite local college students and staff to join us for College Night at the Museum on Monday, January 23 from 6 -8 pm. This program will offer local college students and staff a chance to become better acquainted with who we are, what we have to offer, and how you or your students can develop skills and experience as a volunteer. Following an informational tour of the Museum’s Catherine W. Jones McKann Center, we’ll convene on the mezzanine for some light snacks and to answer questions about the Museum and volunteering.
There is no cost for the program, but attendees are asked to present a current college ID to enter. Please RSVP to Janelle Kennedy at jkennedy@famcc.org or call (540) 371-3037 ext. 142. All attendees will be entered in a contest to win a free academic membership to the Museum and if you bring a friend, you will get an extra entry! Bring ten friends and get ten extra chances to win!
