Charleston, SC-based duo Megan Jean and the KFB will be bringing their unique brand of hard-touring, foot-stompin', guitar beatin, upright lickin, washboard scratchin,' banjo pickin' madness with a voice like the devil herself to The Recreation Center, Friday, December 14th with special guests The Lonely Hands. Married duo Megan Jean and Byrne Klay, winners of Floyd Fest's Under the Radar competition and featured in Spring of 2012 on PBS's music travel and documentary series "Music Voyager," are the founding and sole members of Megan Jean and the KFB. This eclectic duo arranges a demented blend of Americana, klezmer, latin, rockabilly, and the avant-garde that has been captivating audiences all over America. Combined with Jean's wit, serious vocal chops, literate lyricism, and Klay's unorthodox and masterful upright bass and banjo techniques, "You have never heard anything like Megan Jean and the KFB (Weld Birmingham)."
