Beauty and the Beast

The award-winning Stafford High School Drama Department presents this mysterious and elegant telling of the classic tale, in which Beauty and her Beast exist in a world of magic and poetry, light and dark, sorrow and joy. Beauty must leave behind her beloved father, adventure-hungry brothers, and uproariously self-absorbed sisters, entering a magical castle filled with strange servants obedient to their beastly master. The story tests the nature of love as she looks beyond the beast's ugliness and understands her transforming love for him. Young and old are sure to enjoy this perfect show for the entire family! Performances are Thursday and Friday, December 13 and 14 at 7pm, and Saturday, December 15 at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are sold at the door beginning 30 minutes before each performance.
